Solar Eclipse Safety Information

Oregon will be in the trajectory of a total solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017 beginning around 10:15 a.m. Being the first total solar eclipse visible in the continental U.S. since 1979, this event is expected to draw upwards of one million visitors to the state, with most of the activity occurring along the forecasted path of totality. It is important to learn how to safely view the eclipse.
