Workshop: Beginning Quilling

Tuesday, August 8, 2017 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Tuesday, August 8, 6:30-8:30pm. Registration is required. Quilling is the age-old art of paper curling, invented in the 16th century by French and Italian monks as a way to embellish precious art and relic boxes. In this class, students will create a whimsical, three-dimensional piece of art with mere paper strips. We will learn the basic techniques of quilling in this workshop, where we will embellish a letter via quilling.

Supplies and materials provided. Call 503-675-2540 to register.
