Join the project team and architects in a collaborative visioning exercise to provide input on the design direction for the new Police Facility. During the first meeting, participants will be asked to review and react to images of existing buildings in order to begin development of the aesthetic and stylistic direction for the project.
The preliminary concept for the new facility is a two story building immediately adjacent to City Hall at the corner of A Avenue and 3rd Street. The building would include safe, secure, and seismically sound facilities for Police, emergency dispatch, and emergency operations, as well as new facilities for the Arts Council, Lake Oswego Booktique, and a large community meeting room.
The Community Visioning Forum is the first in a series of public meetings to get community input on the development of the design direction and ultimately the concept for the new building.
