February 6: Art Unveiling Reception & Month-long Art Show

Because of this afternoon/evening’s snow threat, we are canceling the LO Reads Art Unveiling Reception at Graham’s Stationery & Chrisman’s scheduled for tonight.  However, when the weather cooperates, please come enjoy the art which will remain on display through February! (Chrisman’s 10-6 Mon-Sat, Grahams 9-6 Mon-Sat, 12-5 Sun)

Thursday, February 6, 6:00 - 7:30 pm at  Graham’s Book & Stationery, 460 2nd Street. Also see the Lake Oswego High School and Lakeridge High School student art and ceramics show at Chrisman Picture Frame & Gallery, 480 2nd Street. Come see the unveiling of interpretations of William Stafford’s stirring poetry by 18 talented artists at Graham’s Book & Stationery. Their masterpieces are based on Stafford’s book, Stories That Could Be True, a collection that includes both his early works and some of his last poems. Following the unveiling, stroll to the Lake Oswego High School and Lakeridge High School student art and ceramics show at Chrisman Picture Frame & Gallery.   Meet the artists and Kim Stafford and enjoy complimentary refreshments.  The artists include: Angelina Woolley, Ann Munson, Beth Verheyden, Bill Baily, Dave Haslett, Dyanne Locati, Gerry Foote, Jan Rimerman, Jani Hoberg, Kara Pilcher, Lisa Finch-Wiser, Mary Burgess, Sally Bills Bailey, Sonja Donnelly, Sue Jensen, Susan Greenbaum and Susie Cowan. The art will be on display and for sale through February.
