    Pipeline Work at Railroad Crossing on State Street Requires 48-Hour Weekend Construction Beginning August 15 LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – Beginning Saturday, August 15 at 6 a.m., crews will start a period of 48-hour, continuous work to install the Lake Oswego Tigard Water Partnership’s new pipeline under the railroad tracks on State Street (Highway 43).

Lake Oswego is fortunate that it gets its water from the Clackamas River and its summer flows are sustained largely by creeks and streams that originate from aquifers (groundwater). However, the streamflow of the Clackamas River is currently below normal.
