    Lake Oswego Police Department will once again have two K9 Units with the arrival of K9 Chase. Chase - a German Shepherd from Slovakia - began training with the Lake Oswego Police Department (LOPD) in October. At just 18 months old, he will be taking over for his predecessor K9 Kai, who passed away in October 2013.

    A passport is an internationally recognized travel document that verifies the identity and nationality of the bearer. A valid United States (US) passport is required to enter and leave most foreign countries. Only the US Department of State has the authority to grant, issue or verify United States passports. US passports can be issued only to US nationals, and appropriate proof of citizenship will be required.  The US Dept. of State has authorized the City of Lake Oswego Finance Department as a Passport Acceptance Facility.

Ms. Steinmetz previously worked for the cities of Portland and Eugene, where she served in similar positions over the past eighteen years.
