Do you consider Luscher Farm to be one of the crown jewels of Lake Oswego’s amazing park system? Would you like to see Luscher Farm become a regional education hub centered on sustainability, natural resource protection and historic preservation? Are you passionate about making a difference in our community? If so, the Friends of Luscher Farm wants to talk to you! The Friends of Luscher Farm is recruiting new board members - they are looking for people who have experience in finance, fundraising/grant writing, event planning, computer/web design skills, or other skills.
The Friends of Luscher Farm are actively involved in working with the City to implement the Luscher Farm Master Plan. To date, they have helped build a tool shed for the community gardeners and to reroof the historic barn.
Please join the Friends of Luscher Farm for an informational open house on April 9, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the farm house at Luscher Farm, 125 Rosemont Road, to learn more about who they are and what they do.
If you would like more information prior to the meeting, please contact Heidi Schrimsher.
