(Woodmont Park: 6.7 acres of natural areas and a stream)
Keep your eyes open for the owl that frequents Woodmont Park as you help plant native species. Share a couple of hours with Friends of Woodmont Park to restore this natural area back to its healthy ecosystem. Wander through the treasure trove of open fields, old orchards and lush woods. Grab a shovel and help with planting native species, invasive plant removal and maybe some mulch spreading as we restore the balance of the natural area. Please wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves and water.
