Arbor Day Art Contest for Kids
Frog Pond Toys is excited to sponsor the city-wide Arbor Day Art Contest for kids in Pre-K through 5th grade. Use the official entry form to draw, color, paint, or otherwise create a work of art to celebrate the City’s 25th year as a Tree City USA. Entry forms are at Frog Pond Toys (310 North State Street), City Hall (380 A Avenue), the West End Building (4101 Kruse Way), and online at www.ci.oswego.or.us/planning. Submit your entry at Frog Pond Toys on or before Thursday, April 24. Entries will be on display at Frog Pond Toys through April 24, winners will be announced on April 25 (National Arbor Day), and prizes will be awarded at a special City Council event on May 6.

Arbor Day Poster Contest for Teens
Students in grades 6 through 12 are invited to design a poster celebrating Lake Oswego’s 25th year as a Tree City USA. Posters may depict any aspect of Lake Oswego’s urban forest and should explore what it means to be a Tree City USA. All artistic media (digital, photo, print, etc.) are welcome, so be creative!
Posters must be 11x17” in size and include the following text:
- Lake Oswego
- 25 Years of Tree City USA
- Poster by: (provide your name, school, and grade).
Include your name and phone number legibly on the reverse side of your poster. Entries are due by 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 24 and must be submitted to the Lake Oswego Parks & Recreation Department at the West End Building.
One grand prize entry will be printed and distributed around the city to publicize our 25th Tree City USA anniversary. All entries will be on display at the West End Building through April 24, winners will be announced on April 25 (National Arbor Day), and prizes will be awarded at a special City Council event on May 6.
