The applicant is requesting approval to remove the historic landmark designation from the Christie School and removing it from the city's Historic Landmark List (LOC Table 50.06.009-1), pursuant to ORS 197.772(3).

At their meeting on August 13, 2014, the Historic Resources Advisory Board approved the Findings, Conclusion and Order (the final decision) denying the Applicant's request.

At their special meeting on July 31, 2014, the Historic Resources Advisory Board deliberated and unanimously denied the application. The Findings, Conclusions and Order will be considered at their meeting on August 13, 2014.
The Historic Resources Advisory Board met on July 23, 2014, to continue the public hearing from July 9. The Board received additional oral and written testimony and granted a request to leave the record open for additional written testimony only that responds to the oral and written testimony received at the July 23 continued hearing. The continued hearing is scheduled for July 31, 2014.
At their meeting on July 9, 2014, the Historic Resources Advisory Board received oral and written testimony at the hearing and granted the applicant’s request to have the record held open for an additional 7 days. Additional oral and written testimony may be submitted at the next hearing, which has been scheduled for July 23, 2014.
