LU 17-0001: Uplands Neighborhood Plan and R-10 Overlay District

Project Description

A request from the City of Lake Oswego, for adoption of the Uplands Neighborhood Plan into the Neighborhood and Special District Plans volume of the Comprehensive Plan, and amendment of the Transportation System Plan to include a new pathway section on Uplands Drive. The Commission will also consider amendments to the Community Development Code (LOC 50) to add the Uplands R-10 Overlay District, LOC 50.05.012.

04/05/17

On April 4th the City Council granted a request from the Uplands Neighborhood Association to continue the public hearing to May 2nd in order to address concerns raised by a property owner.

02/28/17

At its meeting on February 27, the Planning Commission adopted the Findings, Conclusion and Order (the final recommendation).

The City Council is scheduled to hold a study session on March 21, 2017.  The public hearing is tentatively scheduled for April 4, 2017.

The Planning Commission considered the proposed amendments at a public hearing on February 13, 2017.  The Commission made a preliminary recommendation that the City Council approve the proposed amendments as written in the staff report.  The Findings, Conclusions and Order (the final recommendation) will be considered on February 27, 2017.

(Only materials identified by the applicant or interested parties for the purpose of addressing the applicable criteria are made a part of the “record” before the reviewing authority.)

The Planning Division’s Case File may be viewed by the public Monday - Friday, excluding holidays, 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. in the Planning and Building Services Department. Persons are encouraged to contact the Project Manager to arrange for a suitable location to review the materials in the Case File.

Note: Materials exempt under the Oregon Public Records Law, ORS 192.501 and 192.502 may be withheld from public review of the Case File; such materials are NOT a part of the “record” before the reviewing authority in determining whether or not the proposed development complies with the applicable criteria.
