LU 18-0007: Community Developments Code Annual Amendments (2017)

The City of Lake Oswego is proposing the following annual amendments to the Community Development Code to correct cross-references, clarify standards, and address landscape waivers, permitted uses in Parks Plans, mid-week Farmer's Markets, courtyard size in Downtown Redevelopment Design District (DRDD), and definitions of Detached and Floor Area. Status Updates: 



On May 14, 2018, the Planning Commission adopted the Findings, Conclusions and Order (final recommendation).  A link to the adopted Findings is available below under "Key Documents."

The City Council public hearing is scheduled for June 5, 2018; public testimony will be accepted.  For more information regarding the Council's agenda and schedule, please contact Anne-Marie Simpson, City Recorder, (503) 534-4225 or e-mail.



On April 23 the Commission reopened the hearing and received testimony limited to tree mitigation in the Lake Grove Village Center.  They made a preliminary recommendation that the proposed amendments be approved.  The Findings, Conclusion and Order will be considered on May 14.



On March 12, the Commission opened the hearing and accepted testimony.  They requested staff return with additional information on tree mitigation in the Lake Grove Village Center.  The hearing was continued to April 23; testimony will be accepted, but is limited to tree mitigation in the Lake Grove Village Center.
