Drug Arrest Leads to Recovery of Evidence of Identity Theft

LAKE OSWEGO – On Sunday, May 4, 2014, at 1:37 p.m., Rhiannon A. Miller (DOB: 10/28/81 – from Tualatin), was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and on a detainer warrant for a violation of her probation at the Phoenix Inn, 14905 Bangy Road, in Lake Oswego.

On Sunday, May 4, 2014, at about 12:00 p.m., a Lake Oswego Police supervisor noticed a suspicious vehicle that had been going back and forth between the hotels in the area of Bangy Road and Meadows Road. He learned that the vehicle was associated with a female staying at the Phoenix Inn, and he contacted her there along with other officers.

The female, identified as Rhiannon A. Miller (DOB: 10/28/81), was found to be on probation for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. During his contact with her, she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and, ultimately, numerous items of evidence related to identity theft were also discovered.

Miller was arrested for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and on a detainer warrant for a violation of her probation and was lodged at the Clackamas County Jail. More charges are likely pending relating to Identity Theft and other fraud. Officers are continuing their investigation and will be attempting to contact potential victims as they are identified.
