Lake Oswego High School placed on lockout following suspicious phone call
On March 1st, at about 10:23 am a male called into the Lake Oswego high school main office from outside of the area and made statements that could have been perceived as threatening. Lake Oswego Police arrived and following school protocols the Lake Oswego high school and Lake Oswego Junior High schools were placed on lockout, not allowing anyone in or out of the school for about two hours. The staff at Lake Oswego HS did everything correctly and assisted with the investigation.
As the investigation continued it was determined that there was not an immediate threat to the staff or students and the lockout was lifted.
The incident is still under investigation by the Lake Oswego Police Detectives.
