Lake Oswego Police Arrest Two For Dealing Marijuana
LAKE OSWEGO – On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, Lake Oswego Police detectives completed a month-long drug investigation with the arrest of Jordan Ameer Abdul-Majid (DOB: 2/7/94) in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, 17711 Jean Way. Another suspect, Penn James Louis (DOB: 3/3/92), was also later arrested in connection with the case.
Police had been receiving information and complaints for some time that Abdul-Majid had been dealing marijuana in Lake Oswego and were ultimately able to arrest him while he was conducting a drug deal. Police seized approximately 2oz of marijuana that had just been sold, and almost 3oz more that he had in his possession. Abdul-Majid also had over $800 on his person that was seized.
Investigators were then able to develop information that led them to his suspected supplier, Penn Louis. Louis was also arrested after conducting a drug deal. Police seized approximately 8.6oz of marijuana and over $2,000 from Louis.
Abdul-Majid was charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (3 counts), Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance 1 and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance 1, and Louis was charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance 1 and Manufacturing a Controlled Substance. Both suspects were lodged at the Clackamas County Jail.
