This LOMN Advisory Board is made up of dedicated volunteers who engage, year around, in fundraising efforts to support the meal program offered by the ACC.
The mission of the Lake Oswego Meal Network is to enrich the lives of seniors and disabled residents, including those who are housebound, and to assist in maintaining their independence by providing them with nutritious meals. This is accomplished through cooperation between the City of Lake Oswego and the Lake Oswego Meal Network Advisory Board by fundraising via community involvement.
The critical fundraising arm of this program involves resources such as grant programs accomplished through work with civic organizations, churches, and through individual donations. There is an ever increasing need for fundraising. In 2012, the ACC delivered or provided more than 20,000 meals to the community. This is an increase of 17% over 2010. It is the only such program that provides meals to Lake Oswego seniors. To go to the LOMN website or make a donation click here.
