City Council Town Hall Questions on Open City Hall

Posted Mon, 02/11/2013 - 2:44pm

Two questions are currently available for comment in Open City Hall.  These questions are intended to bring the February 12, 7:00 p.m. Town Hall with the City Council online.  An online forum allows more people to participate and to provide input even if they cannot attend the meeting.

Here are the questions:

What reaction and thoughts do you have about the City Council's 2013 Action Plan? What are the highest priority items? You can actually prioritize the items and help the Council pick the top 5 through the prioritization tool.

What services, beyond those that are core or mandated, are important to Lake Oswego. What is the appropriate level or standard of service provided? What can change without impacting the character of the community? This question is the place for general comments, input on City spending, services and level of services.

More information:

As at the Town Hall, people participating online will be asked to provide their name and address. However, through Open City Hall, comments can be displayed anonymously. Open City Hall is run by a third party, Peak Democracy. In having two open questions, people can target their comments to specific areas that the Council would like to hear about.  On Open City Hall, you can read the comments of others as well as support ideas that match your perspective.

The City Council will be provided with a copy of all the input prior to the Town Hall (cut off is 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and then also again at the end of the week).  For more information on the Town Hall, please go to:
