City of Lake Oswego tree recycling

There are several options to recycle your holiday tree:

  • Curbside pickup by Allied Waste. The tree can be collected by Allied Waste as part of your regular yard debris pick up as long as it fits into your container.  If it fits in your yard debris container, there will be no additional charge.  This may require cutting your tree into 36” sections to make it fit.  You can also call Allied to arrange for pick-up for a small additional fee.  Please remove tinsel and ornaments. Flocked trees are accepted. For additional information about tree recycling with Allied Waste, please call Allied Waste at 503-636-3011.

  • Girl Scouts will collect trees and greenery at Upper George Rogers Park, on January 5 and 6, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  There is a fee for each tree.

  • Boy Scout Troop 230 will collect trees at the corner of Kruse Way and Carman Drive, on January 5 and 6, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Donations requested.

For more information, call the Citizen Information Center at 503-635-0257.
