Community Shred Day

Saturday, April 27, 2013 - 10:00am to 1:00pm

Safely Shred Your Sensitive Documents

Shred Day runs from 10 am to 1 pm, or until the trucks are full (which may be before 1 pm). There will be two shredding trucks at the event, so no need to arrive early and queue up!

Up to three boxes per household* will be accepted. Staples, paper clips, hanging folders, and rubber bands are fine. Participants are also encouraged to bring canned food for donation to the Oregon Food Bank.

This free event, sponsored by the Police Department and Sustainability Program, is intended for Lake Oswego citizens only. For more information, including identity theft prevention tips, waste reduction and recycling resources, and year-round shredding options, click here.

*Boxes can be up to banker box / case of paper size. Documents may also be brought in paper or plastic bags. Please do not bring multiple vehicles from your household!

Service is on a first come, first served basis and limited to the capacity of two commercial-sized shredding trucks. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause should capacity be reached prior to 1 pm.
