"The Greenest Building" Film Screening

Wednesday, May 15, 2013 - 7:00pm to 8:30pm

You are invited to attend the Lake Oswego premiere of the award-winning documentary, "The Greenest Building". All are welcome to attend; the event is free and open to the public.

"The Greenest Building", by former Lake Oswego resident and producer Jane Turville, presents a compelling look at the important role building reuse plays in creating sustainable communities. Narrated by David Ogden Stiers of the hit TV series M*A*S*h, the film explores the myth that a “green building” is a new building and demonstrates how renovation and adaptive reuse of existing structures fully achieves the sustainability movement’s “triple bottom line” - economic, social, and ecological balance. Jane Turville will be on hand following the screening to talk briefly about the film and to answer questions. This event is co-sponsored by the Lake Oswego Preservation Society, and the City of Lake Oswego Sustainability Advisory Board and Historic Resources Advisory Board.

Light refreshments will be served. For more information email Marylou Colver, Lake Oswego Preservation Society, or call the Citizen Information Center at 503-635-0257.
