Hands-on fun in the kitchen! Learn important cooking skills while preparing a healthy meal using produce from the Children’s Garden. Allow creativity to mesh with culinary techniques for exciting results!

Rocks, Fossils and Geology Camp

Dig for fossils, examine rocks and minerals, make a plaster cast of a fossil, create crystals and learn about landslides and volcanoes. Please wear layered clothing for classroom and outdoor weather.

Herb Gardening Basics

Learn the basics of herb production: how to choose plants for your site as well as propagation, planting, and harvesting herbs to use in your kitchen. Participants will leave with three easy to grow plants and seeds to start later.

Learn how to create beauty in your garden and bring it indoors.  In the first class in this series you’ll learn when, where and what to plant.  Planting lists and ideas provided. A second class later in the season covers how to harvest your blooms and arrange them like an expert.
